I heard through the grapevine that Alex Trebek was in a bit of a war with Regis.

Seems that Alex thinks that "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" is a dumber show than Jeopardy.  Apparently, he says that because the questions on Regis' show are multiple choice, this show is not up to the intellectual standards of such a high class show as Jeopardy.

JHCORFC!  C'mon Alex!  Intelligence is not measured by how quickly one can recite trivia in iambic pentameter.  Granted, it takes a sophisticated brain to store, retrieve and format the response.  But this is basically an XML database with an XSL output.  Gimme a break.
