Lay On

Well Handy Andy, have at it. Comments are back on. I guess I should count it a mark of honor to have you residing under my silly bridge.

Just a request to the others commenting, though. Please don't feed the troll. It's annoying enough as it is.

Thanks.

Now- Is that any way to talk after I sent you that nice love note?

Like I said, it was likely spam filtered. Unless it had something memorable in the subject line or it was from an email I recognize, It's filtered. Try again.

Sorry for the double posts.

And in the sprit of the season I will not point out to you that the post you have below about poverty is completely bogus. We are effectively in 2004 and that is from 2002.

All it really showed was that the Clinton recession hurt a lot of people but Bush's tax cuts fixed that. But of course I won't mention that cuz it is Christmas and all.

See ya dude

HA

MT wont let you ban ranges of IP's?

Hopefully in 3.0 they will allow you to ban any range of IP from class A to class D.. if they don't already. I don't get any traffic at all .. so no need for banning commentors.. heh.

What we need is to be able to use wildcards...

127.* or 127.0.* or 127.0.0.* Of course

But your right.. the only way truly round this is to use registration.

You know.. I think if you go to www.scriptygoddess.com she might have a plugin or script fix for you. There's one site called theworkingmom.net I sometimes visit that uses registration on a MT 2.64 build.

If your really bored go check it out?

Dang it... (((( double posted.

OK.. second thing MT 3 needs... editing features for comments.

troll: 2. n. An individual who chronically trolls
in sense 1; regularly posts specious arguments, flames or personal attacks to a newsgroup, discussion list, or in email for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning
about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait. Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming
characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on the net, as in, "Oh, ignore him, he's just a troll." Compare kook.

hmmm by your definitions: "regularly posts specious arguments" and "Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand"

You are the biggest troll here!

The New York Times smashed the Halliburton myth

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/29/international/middleeast/29CONT.html?hp=&pagewanted=all&position=

An examination of what has grown into a multibillion-dollar contract to restore Iraq's oil infrastructure shows no evidence of profiteering by Halliburton, the Houston-based oil services company, but it does demonstrate a struggle between price controls and the uncertainties of war, with price controls frequently losing.

...

So far this year, Halliburton's profits from Iraq have been minimal. The company's latest report to the Securities and Exchange Commission shows $1.3 billion in revenues from work in Iraq and $46 million in pretax profits for the first nine months of 2003.

Go ahead, gimme a specious argument.

Why am I not surprised? Faked email to 'prove' he's not a coward. Brainless BushBot.

That's what the email was for, to avoid your site. So email is a fakeout. After excremeditation on the matter the Pinkboy and I are through.

OH LOOK! another specious argument.
